AI-Powered Finance Platform for SMEs
The Challenge
SMEs needed compliant invoicing with real-time fiscalisation built in, but manual expense bookkeeping was slow, error-prone and hard to scale, multiple bank accounts had to be reconciled in one place, and the solution had to keep pace with constantly evolving tax regulation.
What We Did
We built a Java / Spring Boot platform for invoicing and fiscalisation, with bank connections for automated transaction reconciliation and AI-driven expense categorisation that cuts manual bookkeeping. An Angular frontend gives SMEs a fast, intuitive experience, and the architecture stays aligned with evolving fiscalisation and tax requirements - routing frontier and smaller AI models by task to keep categorisation cost-effective.
The Impact
How We Delivered
A 5-member team - a tech lead owning the Spring Boot architecture, banking integrations and fiscalisation, two backend engineers on invoicing, reconciliation and AI expense-tracking, two frontend engineers on the Angular SME experience, and a product manager owning the roadmap across compliance, banking and AI.
