A global energy company adopting sustainability-oriented technologies.
The client needed to bring IoT into an existing electrical-grid infrastructure to improve efficiency and reliability - enabling real-time monitoring, control and management of distribution and consumption, collecting and analysing high-volume data across heterogeneous devices, ensuring reliable connectivity, scaling smart features affordably, and staying secure and resilient against faults and cyber threats.
We deployed an IoT-based grid architecture with sensors and comms for real-time control, and a cloud/edge backend to aggregate, process and analyse grid data for actionable insight. Multi-protocol sensors, meters and actuators were integrated into one unified smart-grid framework, delivered through a scalable, modular rollout that upgrades in phases rather than all at once.
A 7-member team over 3 months - one system engineer, one software architect, one data engineer, one embedded engineer, one Flutter engineer and two full-stack developers - from requirements and system architecture through sensor deployment and cloud/edge integration.
